Taking Calls

Unlike sending emails to your organization, phone calls do not generate a ticket automatically — but don’t worry, there’s still a fast and easy way to accept calls and create tickets for incoming phone calls.

To take a call, simply click the Take Call button.

This will take you to the Take Call screen, which includes all of the same options as the [[Create Ticket]] screen, but automatically populates the Update Type as a phone call.

Once you’re finished with the details of the incoming call support ticket, click Submit.

You can also use the Take Call New Window button to open a new browser tab for the call. This is useful if you’re already working on a ticket but not quite ready to submit your changes, but still need to take the call.
